Although we are a foundation school and therefore manage our own admissions, all applications must be made through Surrey admissions.

Tours and Open Mornings

We are keen to give prospective parents an opportunity to come for a tour of our wonderful school. We update this page with any upcoming Open Morning dates.  Our Open Mornings provide an opportunity for you to see our classrooms in session and talk with Year 6s about their experiences at Tadworth Primary.

Our next Open Morning is on 16th July 2025 (TBC).

If you are unable to make our Open Morning or would prefer to visit our school at another time, you can contact us to arrange a tour. These normally run on Monday mornings. To register your interest please contact the front office by emailing info@tadworthps.surrey.sch.uk or calling on 01737 354541.

How distance is measured - Find a School

Within our admission policy we take into account an applicant's nearest school. Distances are measured in a straight line from the address point of the child's home address to the nearest official school gate for pupils to use. (The official gates are located in Heathcote and Tadorne Road.) This is calculated by the Surrey School map published on Surrey County Council’s website which can be found here. 

In Year Admission 2024-25

If you would like to apply for a place at Tadworth Primary (other than in Reception 2025-26) it is necessary for you to contact the school directly.  An In-Year Admission Form needs to be completed which can be found here.  Admissions to Tadworth are based on our current Admissions Policy 2024-25.

Academic Year 2025-26

Admissions to Reception at Tadworth Primary, in the academic year in which your child will reach five years of age, are handled by Surrey County Council. Registration will open on 4th November 2024 and can be accessed here. Registrations close on 15 January 2025.

Places at Tadworth Primary School in Reception 2025-26 will be allocated according to our Admission Policy 2025-26. Offer letters will be issued by Surrey County Council on 16 April 2025 and you will need to accept or decline the space you've been offered by 30 April 2025.
