Tadworth Primary School PTA

Our Mission

We’re a group of parents, carers and teachers who believe that school is at its best when everyone feels part of the community. Our PTA exists to bring people together, strengthen the Tadworth spirit, and raise funds that enrich every child’s experience at school.

Who We Are

The PTA is run by volunteers who give their time, ideas and energy to support the school. Every parent and carer at Tadworth Primary is automatically a member, and everyone is warmly welcome — whether you’d like to join the committee, help at an event, or simply come along and be part of the fun.

While the committee itself is made up of parents, carers and staff, we’re lucky to have wonderful support from the wider school community. Extended family members, ex‑parents and local friends often step in to help at events, and their involvement adds so much to what we’re able to achieve together.

What We Do

Throughout the year we organise a range of fundraising and social events — from quizzes and discos to raffles, cinema nights, seasonal celebrations and second-hand uniform sales. These events aren’t just about raising money; they’re about creating moments where families, children and staff can come together, laugh, chat and feel part of something bigger.

Our PTA committee meets every month or so during term time to plan upcoming activities, share ideas and keep everything running smoothly.

Why It Matters

Every penny we raise goes straight back into supporting the school and enhancing the children’s learning environment. Whether it’s new equipment, outdoor improvements or special experiences, our fundraising helps create opportunities that benefit every child.

Get Involved

There’s no pressure and no minimum commitment — just a warm welcome and plenty of ways to join in. If you’d like to learn more or get involved, please follow the link below:

Easyfundraising

The PTA also have an easyfundraising.org.uk page where funds can be raised through online shopping with over 2,700 retailers registered with the site, including Amazon, John Lewis, eBay and Tesco. Retailers donate a percentage of what is spent to Tadworth Primary School PTA to say thank you for shopping with them. Details of how to use the website can be found below. We are currently raising funds for our outdoor learning environment.

Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up – Click on the logo above and then and click on the button to sign up.

2. Shop – from the easyfundraising website, search for the retailer you’d like to shop with and click through to the retailer to make your purchase. This tells the retailer you came from easyfundraising. The price is exactly the same as if you’d visited the retailer directly.

3. Get a donation – after you’ve made your purchase, the retailer will give you a cash reward that easyfundraising turn into a donation for Tadworth Primary School PTA.

No cost, no catch!

Please be assured that using the easyfundraising website will not cost you a penny. There are no catches or hidden charges and Tadworth Primary School PTA benefit from any donations you make once registered.

Thank you for your support, this is a really easy way to help raise money for your children’s school!
