Requests for Leave of Absence

Absence requests, which should where possible be made four weeks in advance, will only be authorised in exceptional circumstances and by prior agreement with the Headteacher. We believe that holidays taken during term time are disruptive and can seriously affect a child’s education. If parents need to take their child out of school during term time for any reason (including events such as a music/drama/sports exams or competitions), a permission form should be completed.

Mobile Phones in School

We recognise that parents may sometimes, for safety reasons, wish for their son/daughter to bring a mobile phone into school.  This will only be allowed for children in Years 5 and 6.

Phones must not be brought into school until the child’s class teacher has a completed, signed, form.

Past Pupils Helping in School

We welcome the fact that past pupils like to come back to visit Tadworth to see staff and to help out in school. Please click below to complete the necessary Consent Form and Expectations for Past Pupils.

Disclosure & Barring Checks

If we have asked you to apply for a  Disclosure & Barring check, you should receive an email from Strictly Education giving you a link to complete an online application form, guidance can be found by following the link below.

Once your form has been submitted you will need to bring three forms of identification to Hilary Wilson so that we can complete and submit our section of the disclosure form.

The school is charged a £7.75 admin fee from Strictly Education, who are the umbrella body that process our online applications; if you are able to contribute towards this fee it would greatly appreciated.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact Hilary Wilson, Bursar.
